Dot has over twenty-nine years’ experience in the Community Association Management industry and has been with Resource since 1992. She obtained her Community Association Managers License in 1990. She went on to obtain her Certified Manager of Community Associations Designation (CMCA) in 2000, her Association Management Specialist Designation (AMS) in 2001 and earned the coveted Professional Community Association Manager Designation (PCAM) in 2004. Dot has appeared as an Expert Speaker at CA Day Educational Seminars speaking on matters of development and enforcement of rules and regulations and election procedures. Dot has been published in industry periodicals covering a vast array of topics and appeared as a guest speaker at numerous CAI breakfast meeting programs. Dot is an active member of both the West Florida Chapter and Suncoast Chapter of CAI where she served as President, maintained a seat on their board of directors for six years and was just appointed for another three year term where she is serving as President.
Dot is the past editor of the Suncoast Chapter quarterly newsletter, The Suncoast Review, which received National recognition and she is the first recipient of the President and CED Award in 2006 as a result of her work on the newsletter and volunteer efforts. Dot is an approved moderator for the M100 course for association managers. She is an approved instructor of the “Building Community”, “Facilities Maintenance”, “Maintenance and Problem Solving”, and “Communications, Meetings and Volunteerism” modules of the Advanced ABC Courses designed for board members and community association managers through CAI. Dot is also a State of Florida approved instructor for the Condominium, Cooperative and Homeowner Association Board Member Certification Course.
