Florida remains in forecast cone of Tropical Storm Isaias

Hurricane News

Florida could feel hurricane strength winds within the next 48 hours

Tropical Storm Isaias, the ninth named storm, is projected to approach the coast of Florida this weekend. Over night the path shifted to the east and some models show the storm passing over the east side of Florida and moving toward the Carolinas. Multiple power outages were reported across Puerto Rico last night leaving at least 96,000 without power. According to the National Hurricane Center, they anticipate winds could get up to 70 miles per hour. We are urging our communities to keep an eye on the storm and be sure to have your hurricane preparedness kits ready and stocked. https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
